The politics of fear wage on

If 9/11 hadn't happened, it would have been harder for USA to go into Afghanistan to build the pipeline they've wanted for 20 years. It would have been harder for them to go into Iraq to control their oil like they've wanted for 20 years. So whoever was responsible for 9/11 was doing George Bush a huge favor.

Now we had to witness the unfortunate events of July 7, 2005. Why did it happen? Who was responsible? These questions will likely never be answered. But in the coming months and years, we will see exactly who benefits. And my bet is on George Bush and his pawn, Tony Blair.
Support for Blair was at an all-time low because of his insistance to free (kill) the Iraqis, but now he is somewhat vindicated. Once again, an invisible enemy commits an act of terror which will propel the victim nation into a towering rage of revenge. The blame is already being aimed at radical Islamic groups, as was with 9/11. That translates to the possibility of the "kill all Arabs" chant resurfacing.

Both Bush and Blair have been using 9/11 as a excuse to justify every stupid thing they do. The excuse is old and warn out, but now they have 7/7 to back them up. How convenient.

One thing is for sure: the families of those responsible for 9/11 and 7/7 must be getting a lot of money.
