Where do you want to go today?
Most people have seen satellite imagery of popular North American cities on Google Maps. Recently Google updated their program by adding high resolution imagery of popular cities across the globe. Check out the following samples:
The Pyramids in Cairo, Egypt
Masjid Nabawi in Medina, Saudi Arabia
Burj-al-Arab in Dubai, UAE
Google also has created a hybrid of the map and satellite features so you can see the satellite images with state borders and road outlines. Remember Microsoft's old slogan, Where Do You Want To Go Today? That would be more appropriate here.
P.S.: If you can pinpoint other landmarks outside North America, I'd love to see them.

There's a whole website dedicated to sightseeing on Google maps.
Check it out here:

These landmark sites were amazing. I remember when I was over in Montreal last time (in May) and we spent 2 hours in front of the computer just finding stuff on Google Maps. That site is so much fun.

Skydome + CN Tower:

Looks kind of lame, though.

Skydome and CN Tower are two of the first things we found on Google Maps. They were cool at the time though not nearly as cool as the Pyramids are now...
I don't see any Taj Mahal.
