I'd say that my blog is a waste of space, but there are so many worse blogs out there that mine seems like it was written by Socrates.

Questionable Pick

I'm in a Yahoo fantasy hockey league. Someone recently acquired Nathan Horton, a move which I think is questionable. Horton is ranked quite high, yet he is nothing but an unreliable player. He's a decent guy, but I wonder why someone would would pick him up from the free agency considering his unreputable career. Horton's agent is also apparently extremely demanding and obnoxious. Big risk by the GM and not a good idea if you love your team.

WIth all due respect, this post is pretty disappointing... in fantasy leagues, who cares if a player's agent is really demanding or obnoxious? That has nothing to do with the stats he puts up in the league (or lack of stats).

In some leagues, the agents don't make a difference, but in ours, it does.

I just hope that Nathan Horton's new linemate has a better experience than his previous linemate. If NH's agent can refrain from being obnoxious and making ridiculous demands, things should work out well, as NH is himself a decent guy. But if the shenanigans continue, I fear that heartbreak and disappointment will ensue, just like last time.
